Super Easy Jello Salad

  • 1 pkg. Large Jello (Strawberry or Raspberry flavor)
  • 1 Lg. carton of Cool Whip
  • 1 Lg. carton of cottage cheese
  • 1 Lg. can of pineapple tidbits (do not drain)

You mix together all of the ingredients and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. It works best to make this the night or morning before you need the salad so that it can set-up. It is so good and always well liked at get-togethers.

Broccoli Slaw

  • Mann's Broccoli Cole Slaw
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Uncooked Ramen Noodles
Dressing:
  • 1 Cup mayo
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar


Combine dressing ingredients in a separate dish that you can store in the fridge, and then use what you need for each serving.

Oriental Salad

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 4 green onions
  • 1 pkg chicken Top Ramen Noodles
  • 2 1/4 oz. almonds, toasted
Dressing:
  • 4 Tbsp sugar
  • 6 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Cup oil
  • 1 Top Ramen Noodles seasoning packet (chicken)

Shake dressing together & refrigerate for several hours. Toss desired amount of dressing with cabbage. Add almonds, seeds & noodles last.

Snickers Salad

  • 6 Granny Smith apples, chopped
  • 16 oz Cool Whip
  • 5 large Snickers Bars chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 small jar marshmallow cream


Mix Cool Whip and Marshmallow Cream together. Stir chopped apples and Snickers into cream mixture. Serve chilled.

Pretzel Salad

  • 2 Cups coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 Cup melted margarine
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 Cup powdered sugar
  • 6 oz Cool Whip
  • 6 oz gelatin, strawberry or raspberry
  • 2 Cups boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz) pkg frozen strawberries

Preheat oven to 400°. Mix pretzels, margarine and sugar and put in 9 x 13 pan; bake for 8 minutes and let cool. Beat powdered sugar into softened cream cheese and stir into topping; spread over cool pretzel layer. Mix together gelatin, water and strawberries and set aside for 10 minutes. Pour over the first two layers and refrigerate.

7-UP Party Salad

  • 7 oz 7-Up
  • 1/4 lb marshmallows
  • 3 oz lemon gelatin
  • lg can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
  • 3 Cups any kind of fruit
  • Kool Whip

Sprinkle pudding mix over Kool Whip. Pour pineapple over. Add fruit. Chill one hour.

Broccoli & Grape Salad

2 bunches of broccoli-break into pieces
1 small red onion sliced OR green onions chopped
2 c. purple graps.

Marinate about 3 hours or overnight in:
2/3 c. mayo
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vinegar

Before serving add
1/2 lb cooked bacon
1 c. cashews
1 c. green raisins

Mandarin Orange Salad

1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. sliced almonds
6 tsp sugar
1/2 head iceberg lettuce
1/2 head romaine lettuce
1/2 c thinly sliced celery
2 green onions
1- 11oz can madarin oranges

Combine 1/4 c. white sugar,salt, pepper,vinegar, and oil in a sauce pan. Heat until sugar dissolves. Cool.

Cook almonds and 6 tsp saugar over med-low heat in saucepan stirring constantly until sugar melts and almonds are coated. Cool and break apart.

Break lettuce into bite size pieces. Add celery, cut on diagonal and thinly slice onions.

5 minutes before serving toss in mandarin oranges, almonds and dressing.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Crust:


1 1/1 c. crushed pretzels
4 1/2 Tbsp sugar
3/4 c. butter, melted


Cream layer:
1 c. sugar
2 8oz pkg cream cheese
1 8oz container cool whip


Jello layer:
1 6 oz pkg strawberry flavored jello
2 c. boiling water
1 16oz pkg frzn strawberries

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together pretzels, 4 1/2 Tbsp sugar and melted butter. Press into bottom of 9 x 13 pan. bake for 10 min., or lightly toasted.S et aside to cool completely.

In a medium bowel, beat the sugar and cream cheese until smooth.Fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over cooled crust.Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.

In a medium bowl, stor together the jeloo mic and boiling water. Mix in frzn strawberries and stir until thawed. Pour over cream cheese mixture in pan. Refrigerate until completely chilled.

Pistachio Pineapple Walnut Salad

1 pkg pistachio pudding
2 c. milk
2 c. cool whip
1 small can pineapple tidbits drained
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Follow directions on pudding pckg. Fold in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Place in container and chill for 1 to 2 hours.

Broccoli Salad

  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 lb bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onion
Dressing:
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 2 Cups miracle whip
Mix broccoli, cauliflower, bacon and green onion. To make the dressing, boil sugar, salt, and vinegar and mix with miracle whip.
