Pork Roast with Gravy!

This has moved into the #1 place on my husbands list of favorite meals! The gravy is sweet tasting so it is really different than anything else I cook. Great for Sunday dinner!

3-4 lb. pork roast 1/2 tsp. powdered garlic
1 large onion, sliced 1/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup apple cider 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Salt to taste
1 Tbsp. brown sugar

Layer the onion slices in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place roast on top of onions, fat side up. Combine apple cider, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and powdered garlic and pour over roast. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Measure out 1 1/2 cups of crock pot juices (add water if needed) into a small saucepan. Stir together cold water and cornstarch. Whisk cornstarch mixture into juices. Heat contents of saucepan until boiling and gravy is thickened. Add salt to taste. Serve gravy over mashed potatoes.
